Pave The Way: An Evening in Support of the Brain Centre Campaign
Friends, it’s not often that I put my name behind an event, but when it involves a great cause and awesome cars, I’m in.
On April 23, 2015, Southgate Audi presents Pave The Way: An Evening in Support of the Brain Centre Campaign. In 2012, the University of Alberta Hospital (UAH) opened one of the most advance brain surgery suites in Canada – but that was just the start of this Campaign. It seeks, with your continued generosity, to provide brain patients at the UAH with access to one of the innovative Brain Imaging and Treatment Units in the country. The Campaign also enables the recruitment and retention of top medical minds in the neurosciences and research. The Brain Centre seeks to provide the highest level of coordinated care possible. Hosted by Jim and Monica Allen, the evening promises to be a blast – at 7 PM, a swanky reception with hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and of course a signature cocktail and at 8 PM, stand-up laughs with “Canada’s Queen of Comedy” Carla Collins!
As if you needed more to convince you this evening is worthy of your attendance, one extremely lucky attendee (and yes, you must be there) will win a one-year lease of an Audi R8. A $225,000 AUDI R8, PEOPLE! That includes insurance and gas for a year. I can’t quite process how awesome of a prize that is, but there you have it. There are also plenty of other luxurious door prizes.
Is this event exclusive? You bet it is. There are only 150 pairs of tickets available, and they are priced at $750 per ticket, or $1500 per pair. And this is what I like to see – ALL proceeds are going to the Brain Centre Campaign. It’s that kind of Campaign that I can get behind.
